One of the best things about running partner programs at XebiaLabs is being closely involved in some of the most exciting happenings in the DevOps world. This week at the Red Hat Summit in San Francisco, XebiaLabs was highlighted in some big announcements around containers and OpenShift– Red Hat’s container application platform–as well as Red Hat’s Kubernetes Operator Framework initiative.

According to Red Hat: “Kubernetes Operators simplify application development for Kubernetes platforms by abstracting away complexities and coding human operational knowledge into applications, creating services that can function without human intervention.”

XebiaLabs is thrilled to be part of Red Hat’s expansive ecosystem as a vendor who has committed its support for the initiative. For XebiaLabs and Red Hat users, this means that XL Release, which is part of the market-leading XebiaLabs DevOps Platform, is now certified as a configurable RedHat OpenShift Docker container. The certification makes it easy to run XebiaLabs in a container on all Red Hat OpenShift platforms, including Online, Dedicated, and Origin.

Enterprise Software Delivery in the Age of Containers

Containers can help simplify and create more agile software delivery environments. But retaining this efficiency becomes difficult as deployments stretch across multiple applications and environments. Download this free whitepaper to learn where containers fall short and how Release Orchestration and Deployment Automation tools bridge the gap between the promise of containers and the realities of complex enterprise application delivery.

XebiaLabs is 100% focused on helping companies around the world accelerate software delivery and improve release quality at enterprise scale. By creating a configurable Red Hat OpenShift-certified container for our DevOps platform, we make it seamless for our customers to orchestrate and automate their software delivery pipelines and to migrate to a fully containerized world.

This certification further extends our relationship with Red Hat, which also includes comprehensive integrations with RedHat OpenShift and the RedHat WildFly (formerly JBoss) middleware.

The certified XL Release container for Red Hat Open Shift is available for download from the Red Hat Container Catalog.
